Vanity?

We now have the  kids' vanity looking like this - ready for plumbing.

and the downstairs one is looking like this:

A vessel (and faucet) will come in later...

In the garage some action as well, with the water heater and furnace in place. They haven't been started yet but they are in..

Kitchen Countertop, done.

Finish look is really good and we can't wait for the floor and paint to be done now...

Kitchen and bath racing towards the finish line

First appearance of the countertop surface in the kitchen - it is a ceasarstone quartz reflexion, pretty cool, it is basically quartz and some pieces of recycled glass inside, small ones just to give some sparkle.

Half of it is done, still working on the island, which is the tricky part. We were a little concerned about the seams which are located on both sides of the cooktop. But it's really not an issue as you can see here it is really hard to find it:

Next is the fact that the painskating hours we spent choosing the plumbing appliances are starting to pay off somehow...

Ups and Downs...

Funny to see that it appears to move by bursts and last week was not really one. Not saying that it did not move but what happened was not as visible as I would expect...anyway:

Some action in the kitchen with the fridge getting very close to being in place:

Now back to the bathrooms with most of the tile done (including the floor ones):

As you can see the master bathroom vanity got some granite cover as well.

Major finish actions, yeah!

Things come to those who wait...we're supposed to know. Well it is happening to us right now! Quite a bit of excitement on this beginning of week with major action going on in the bathrooms.

First the guest bathroom got tiles and a vanity, yes!. The vanities in the house are built by the cabinet maker of our contractor and after discussing plans we finally discovered them today. They're great I have to say and very close to what we had hope for...always nice isn't...

Now the kids bathroom. Barely starting the tiles, but the vanity is in. This one is attached on three sides somehow...

And finally, the master bathroom if seeing some action:
